Business Development Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow our business across California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Mexico. This is a field-focused, customer-facing role, ideally based in Southern California or Arizona, reporting to the Americas Sales & Marketing Director.

The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding design-win activity, and strengthening channel effectiveness through a mix of direct OEM engagement and multi-tier distribution. This position is ideal for a hands-on technical sales professional who thrives in complex sales cycles and enjoys building long-term customer relationships.

Location : Remote, ideally in the greater Southern California and Arizona states. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow revenue across the assigned territory through direct OEM engagement and channel partners
  • Drive new design wins from concept and evaluation through qualification and mass production
  • Identify and develop new market segments and strategic opportunities, including emerging applications
  • Manage and support manufacturer representatives and distributors, ensuring alignment, coverage, and performance
  • Serve as a trusted interface to customers across Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Management
  • Support new product introductions and communicate technology and market trends back to internal stakeholders
  • Deliver regional sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and market intelligence
  • Represent Micro Crystal at key customer visits, technical reviews, and industry events
  • Travel approximately 50–60% within the territory
  • Once a year travel to Switzerland to attend the company’s global sales event
     

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in electronic components or semiconductors
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish proficiency required for customer engagement in Mexico
  • Permanent U.S. resident or U.S. citizen
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing complex, engineering-driven sales cycles
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Highly autonomous, structured, and results-oriented
